Make the right start when learning to drive
Based in Dungarvan in the beautiful County of Waterford, right start school of motoring offers its students a friendly training environment to begin learning to drive.
Our aim is to teach you how to drive safely in all conditions, which in turn, will give you the ability to pass your driving test with confidence.
We are happy to tailor lessons appropriate for complete beginners to intermediate or near test standard students.
At right start, we use a 2022 Ford Focus with dual controls, which gives my students a safe learning environment in which to practice.
Getting started
You need to be 17 to start learning to drive and have a valid provisional licence before you take your first driving lessons.
What lessons you’ll need
My aim is to give our students the skills and knowledge to drive with confidence and to the standards required by R.S.A. We also work to RSA Syllabus of Driving and abide by their code of Conduct.
